totally agree, why sift through RSS when my smart friends are doing it for me?I do, every day. Now I feel all insecure. What am I supposed to be doing besides reading RSS feeds? I’m so behind the times.Does anyone still read their RSS feeds?
I don’t.
I do. Every day (well not all of them every day, but I open my reader every day and read).
I used to never use RSS because it took away the context of design on pages, and recently (this year) have been using google reader for sites that look generic, and manually have tab sets for sites that have interesting/useful/contextual design.
RSS is boring, but useful.
Rick, I stopped because I felt like I could get all the “important stuff” from Twitter. Now that I’m over Twitter, I’m thinking about reading RSS again.
Basically, I can only keep up with one feed at a time. For a while that was RSS, then it was Twitter, now it’s Tumblr and a dash of Foursquare.
But I don’t leave RSS out of the fight… it may come back around as a feed I pay attention to…
